Professional Background

Karishma completed a BCOM in Accounting & Information Systems and specialisation in Professional Accounting. Later, she completed her Master’s degree in Applied Finance. She is a registered tax agent. Karishma has been part of Platinum Accountants & Advisors Pty Ltd over 15 years. Karishma is the managing partner in the family-owned and operated tax and accounting and tax practice. She is the backbone of the compliance, client services, and advisory business and manages the whole team. She is a highly motivated and independent operator who is adaptable to changes within a dynamic technological environment. She has strong analytical skills, is capable of multi-tasking, and has highly competent problem-solving abilities. She is the backbone of Platinum. Karishma is highly focussed on quality & is results orientated. The clients’ deadlines are a high priority for her. She is highly tuned in and uses her broad-based knowledge to plan, pre-empt, and strategise work through expanding client network. She has an aptitude for working with details and the ability to appreciate the "big" picture. Clients like her advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, along with the ability to formulate practical solutions to give clients value and unique solutions. She faces broad base clients of all sizes & industries and occupations, providing professional advice in all aspects of accounting, finance, compliance, and taxation. She has a very broad experience in the accounting and taxation industry, with in-depth knowledge of the emerging technologies in accounting & taxation. Her passion is spending time with her family particularly her two children and doing all things mothers do. Life is always a challenge but one challenge that she is happy to take on.
